Sister Donna L. Ciangio, OP

Sister Donna L. Ciangio, OP is a Dominican sister of Caldwell, New Jersey and holds a doctorate from Drew University. She is the director of Church Leadership Consultation, through which she works internationally and nationally in promoting parish vitality and pastoral direction, leadership development, faith formation, small Christian communities, and consulting and planning with parishes and dioceses.

Her articles have appeared in Today’s Parish, Ligourian, CHURCH Magazine, and in publications from Crossroads, Paulist Press, St. Anthony Messenger Press, and Ave Maria Press.

Sister Donna is an adjunct faculty member in Drew University’s Doctor of Ministry program and serves at St. Rose of Lima, Short Hills as pastoral facilitator. She serves as a consultant for RCL Benziger Publishing Company and on the Board of Trustees of Caldwell College, The Center for Ministry Development and is Chair of the North American Forum for Small Christian Communities.


Diane serves the Diocese of St. Petersburg as the Associate Director of Evangelization and Adult Faith Formation. She holds an MA in Pastoral Ministry from St. Thomas University in Miami and has previously ministered in parishes and on the diocesan level in the area of Youth Ministry. In St. Petersburg, Diane coordinates the Diocesan Core Community and the Diocesan Evangelization Team and is a member of the Diocesan RCIA Committee and Faith Formation Advisory Board. In her parish of St. Patrick, she is a member of a Small Christian Community, a catechist on the Infant Baptism Team and Vacation Bible School Team and is a member of the Evangelization Team. Diane is married and has two boys.


Married 32 years. Mother of four. Co-Coordinator of distance learning for Diocese of Las Cruces. Director of Small Christian Communities for Diocese of Las Cruces, NM. Board member of New Mexico Conference of Churches. Passion for leading Women's Bible Studies and Women's Ministry.


Heath Winborn, formerly on staff at the Guggenheim Museum, serves as the Director of Operations for the parish community of St. Benedict Parish and Preparatory School located in Chicago, IL. He is responsible for the daily operations of the parish including the care and development of the physical campus. J. David McNamara, D.Min.

J. David McNamara, D.Min., was born in Detroit, Michigan, and earned Bachelor of Arts (English) and Master of Arts (Theology) degrees from the University of Detroit-Mercy before departing for Latin America where he performed as principal French Horn with symphony orchestras in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Costa Rica, and later in Canada and the United States.

During the past 26 years living in Las Cruces, New Mexico, he worked with the Diocese of Las Cruces as Director of Elementary Catechesis, Director of Ministries, Director of Education and Formation, Director of Communications, Supervisor of the diocesan newspaper “Agua Viva,” and Lead Diocesan Photographer. While engaged by the Diocese he earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.

Currently, he dedicates time to his photographic enterprise, Photos by J. D. McNamara, specializing in event photography and portraiture.


Bob Metz

Bob Metz from the Diocese of St. Petersburg, FL., is the Director of Evangelization and Adult Faith Formation at Saint Justin Martyr Parish. He is also responsible for Adult Faith Formation and a Pathways process that develops people for ministry at his home parish Holy Family in St. Pete.

Bob in his professional career was the Corporate Director of Quality Assurance for the Celotex Corp, a five division building products company. Since retirement he has become a consultant for roofing manufacturers in the roofing industry beginning in 2001. Bob who has a MBA and a degree in chemistry is also a graduate of The Lay Pastoral Ministry Institute in St. Petersburg.

Bob has been involved in SCCs at the parish level since 1984 and has been on the St. Petersburg Diocesan Core Community since 2001. He joined the NAFSCC in November 2013. He truly supports and embraces the whole SCC process from SCCs to Sunday Eucharist to Ministry and Mission.
